Camel racing has been a huge sport in the Middle East for centuries. We have been thrilling audiences around the UK with our camel racing extravaganza since 2000. Camel racing is a spectacle for any event – from Cheltenham Racecourse to the Royal Cornwall Show to festivals, private parties and even weddings; these amazing animals are fit for any occasion!
Professionally Trained
The camels and the jockeys, specially trained by us, wear fantastically colourful Arabian style outfits to add pzazz to your event. As well as racing, the camels are on display all day so the public can meet these splendid animals and learn more about them from our friendly staff.
FAQ’s
What are the requirements for camel racing?
A (preferably) double roped or fenced arena with a racing track of 10m x 100m (Min.).
A fenced off area 13m x 13m to include the lorry for the static display, with good access all round to ensure the safe movement of the camels to the arena
The use of a radio mike/ PA system for the commentary.
How many performances do you do?
We perform two half hour performances in the main ring/arena throughout the day.
How many camels race?
We race 3 or 4 camels based on the type of event.
How many camels play polo?
Depends on the event. Please ask when you enquire.
Who plays polo on the camels?
We provide polo players that have been specially trained to ride and play polo on camels.
